My new LiveJournal
Hello to those that may care! I now have a LiveJournal so some people (
katelennon) will quit bugging me about it. I also have a different blog, so I really don't know what I'm going to put in this LJ that I don't write there. Well, not that I've had time to write anything there recently. I'm very busy lately.
My first show in Madison closed last night. I stage managed Queer Shorts 3. Stage managing is a tough job. Trying to get people to shut the hell up is not much fun. But the group was pretty good, and I only had real issues with one other person, but he seemed pretty oblivious to my ire towards him. But the rest of the cast was great and helped me out a lot by just being kind and civil to me, and not getting all bitchy when I had to tell them to tone it down.
Next up is a show I'm acting in as part of the new theatre group at Epic. We're putting on The Brothers Grimm Spectaulathon. Basically, it's a send up of several Brothers Grimm stories. It's absolutely hilarious, and the fabulous
katelennon has already offered to help me run lines. I expect all of my friends in Madison to come see it when we put it on. Tentatively, that'll be the last weekend of July, but that could change. In any case, said friends had better have a damn good reason not to come. I'll only accept illness to the point of being on their deathbed. Or family commitments.
Anyway, I've got nothing else to say. It's sort of getting late, and I really should get to bed. We have a deadline at work on Wednesday, and I really need to be awake tomorrow so I can do loads of testing and hopefully get done with everything sooner than that. Night all!
