So, I went to see The Hunger Games and thought it was a good solid film adaption of the book and I wouldn't be ashamed to recommend it others. I especially loved the first half hour. I thought it was very evocative of the book ( Spoilery stuff )
Just got back from seeing The Artist at the cinema and it was really wonderful. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a film this much. I'm not usually into Oscar movies, but this definitely an exception!
Found this through io9. A trailer for a documentary (Side by Side) by Keanu Reeves about the transition to digital photography (and the rise of 3D) from the point of view of directors. It seems to feature interview footage from Scorcese to Nolan! Looks interesting (but maybe I'm just a geek that way.)
