Just got back from seeing The Artist at the cinema and it was really wonderful. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a film this much. I'm not usually into Oscar movies, but this definitely an exception!
Unfortunately I've not had time or money to see The Artist, but I did have the unmitigated joy of watching The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel a couple of weeks ago. Complete delight, and the cast were as brilliant as you'd expect them to be.
Ooh yes, Avengers assemble is on my list too, as is The Hunger Games and Cabin in the Woods (Not usually a horror fan, but it's Whedon.)
I'm also trying to convince a couple of friends of mine to go see North by Northwest at the Film Fatale night at the Sugar Club at end of the month.Vintage clothing, cocktails and a blues band playing music from the era afterwards - my idea of fun, but my friends are looking at me funny :-P
I'm not usually this active a cinema goer but the next month is chock full of stuff I want to see!
