This past weekend was pretty good-Chris and I spent Thursday night through Sunday morning (sort of) in Vienna just wandering around. So, Chris and I went to see Rufus Wainwright in concert last weekend and it was so amazing! I don't think I can begin to describe its amazing-ness. Its strange, seeing him live gave me a totally new perspective on his music- it was almost like listening to different songs. This past Wednesday the group went to Parrano, a small town somewhat north of Orvieto. And so we embark on the second week. Last week was really good. Classes seem like they will be fun, except maybe Italian. My teacher doesn't really seem to know what she's doing, though I don't want to jump to conclusions after only two classes. so. I've been in Italy for two weeks. Its been really good so far, though there have been days when I was extraordinarily bored. So, here's the rundown- Chris and I got into Rome on the 27th.
