Aiba, Nino and Matsujun made their way slowly down to Gussan’s hut at the end of Potion’s class. Professor Nagase had informed them that they would be spending their detention with Gussan; it had at least cheered Aiba back up to his old self. Matsujun and Nino however were still rather grumpy.

They were welcomed by a scowling Akanishi and a rather anxious looking Sho.
“Just waiting for Ohno-kun.” Gussan walked out of his hut, a large rifle in his hand.
“Er…what exactly are we doing?” Nino eyed Gussan’s rifle.
“Something’s been killing the unicorns in the forest, and it’s up to us to find out what it is and put an end to it.” Gussan waved as Ohno came trudging down the small hill.
“So we’re going into the forest?!” Akanishi smirked. “Oh I hope Matsujun gets eaten by a werewolf.” Nino had to hold Matsujun back as he attempted to strangle Akanishi. Gussan raised an eyebrow. “There’re no Werewolf’s in these forests.” He said to the reassurance of Aiba.
“Well, I wouldn’t say that for certain…” Shigeru stood with his arms folded. Gussan just shot him a sharp glance.

“Right, we’re gonna all split up into groups. Nino, Ohno, you’ll come with me and Shigeru-san. The rest of you must stay together; if you get into any trouble send up some red sparks.” Gussan handed Sho and Matsujun each a small lantern. “But…but…” Akanishi started to protest.
“You can have Taichi-kun, though he is a bit of a wimp.” Shigeru smirked and ushered the over-sized reptile towards Sho, Aiba, Matsujun and Akanishi. “At least he looks vaguely menacing.” Sho gave the creature a look of approval.
“Well, we best all get going then.” Gussan lead the group through a small path into the forest. Aiba snuggled close to Sho, the forest was now pitch black and even the sound of scurrying mice made him jump with fright. Beside him he could also feel Sho trembling with fear. “Why…why me…” Sho kept muttering to himself. Aiba had to suppress a small laugh. Up in front the rest of the group had reached a clearing, it was lit by moonlight and a tiny stream ran through the middle.

“Ok guys, this is where we split up. Sho. Sho?” Gussan looked around at the whimpering Ravenclaw student. “Er…perhaps Matsujun should take charge of your group.” He seemed to change his mind and gave Matsujun a clap on the shoulder. Akanishi began to protest once more but Gussan silenced him with his hand.
“If you come across a unicorn, injured or dead, send up some green sparks. And try to stay safe.” With that Gussan, Shigeru, Ohno and Nino made their way to the other side of the stream.

“Urgh! I can’t believe it! Stuck here with Dork boy and his loser friends.” Akanishi complained, shaking his hands through his hair.
“I’m not a dork.” Sho said flatly, his eyes switching from tree to tree out of fear.
“No, you’re a wimp. I was referring to Matsudork.”
“Why are you so horrible?” Aiba enquired fiercely.
“Because he’s jealous of our talents. Come on guys; let’s find some unicorns…or the way out of here.” Matsujun began to stride back the way they had come. Aiba and Sho scuttled after him, their arms interlocked with each other.
“Well I’m not going with you lot.” Akanishi turned his back to them and threw his nose into the air.
“Better for us.” Matsujun called back. “Hopefully the werewolves reach you first.”
There was a second in which Matsujun, Sho and Aiba continued to walk towards the thickness of the forest before running footsteps caught up with them. “You can’t just leave me here.” Akanishi huffed, drawing up beside Matsujun who was leading.
“Try me.” Matsujun sped up his pace so that Akanishi had to jog to keep up. Aiba and Sho were a few feet behind them. Taichi ran beside Sho, growling at any bush which dared to move in the wind.

Suddenly the group of five reached the edge of a cliff where the small stream turned into a gushing waterfall.
“Whoa. Where are we? You got us lost Matsumoto!” Akanishi rounded on Matsujun.
“Oh please shut up!” Matsujun rolled his eyes and shone his lantern over the cliff edge. It wasn’t a very high cliff, and Matsujun could see a small path which they could use to climb down.

“Guy’s! Guy’s! We have to…” But Matsujun was cut off as Sho let out a scream and jumped into Aiba’s arms, dropping his lantern to the ground. Someway down the stream a dark, cloaked figure was drinking from it.
“It’s Gackt-sama from Transylvania here to suck our beautiful innocent blood!!!” Aiba screamed, clutching tighter on to Sho’s body, which was so pale he may have just fainted. The figure looked up, acknowledging that he was no longer alone. Gracefully he rose up and treaded elegantly through the stream towards the boys who were frozen to the spot, behind them the cliff edge loomed.

“Jun. Jun!” Matsujun felt Akanishi’s body wrap itself around him. “I don’t want to die! I’m too young. I’ve still got so much to achieve in my life.” He sobbed out of fear.
“You’re not going to die, Jin.” Matsujun looked down into the frightened eyes of Akanishi calmly. As their eyes met Matsujun felt a sudden wish for Akanishi never to let go.

The dark figure was now illuminated by the full moon which flooded the clearing with its light. “It’s not! It couldn’t be?!” Matsujun ripped his gaze off Akanishi’s eyes to look once more at the figure advancing on them.
“Who?!” Aiba shouted in a strangely high voice.
“It’s Lord Kimutaku! It really is.” Matsujun’s jaw dropped.
“But he’s dead!” Akanishi whimpered from under Matsujun’s arm.
“Whoever he is, he doesn’t look like he’s gonna help us.” Aiba took a few steps back, carrying Sho. He joined Matsujun and Akanishi.
A smile curved on the lips of the stranger, his eyes flashed red. Out of his cloak he pulled a long wand and pointed it at the boys.
“Everyone quickly, grab hold of me!” Matsujun instructed in a demanding voice. Akanishi now wrapped his arms so tightly around Matsujun’s narrow waist that he found it harder to breathe. Aiba took hold of Matsujun’s sleeve, as he dropped his lantern to the ground and scooped his own wand out of his pocket. Taichi hissed one last time at the dark figure before placing a large clawed foot on top of Matsujun’s foot. The dark figure’s lips parted for a word, but before it could be heard Matsujun muttered something to his own wand and Aiba suddenly felt a squirming knot tighten in his stomach as he was jolted up and away, spinning out of control he clutched on to Matsujun as if his and Sho’s lives depended on it. The figure below seemed to scream in to the night, or was it the wind? Aiba couldn’t quite tell, his head was now spinning too.

Aiba blinked, opening his eyes slowly. He was lying on his back, up above were clear starry filled skies. Sitting up abruptly he groped around in the darkness for the body of Sho. “Sho-chan? Sho-chan?”
“Lumos!” Someone not far away from him muttered. The tip of a wand lit up, it was Matsujun’s.
“Oww…Matsudork…ger’off me!” Akanishi groaned underneath the weight of Matsujun, who had conveniently landed on top of the other.
“Uh…Akanishi…” Aiba could visualise Matsujun’s smirk of triumph. “You guys all ok?” Matsujun called out, swinging the light out over Aiba’s area.
“I am, but Sho-chan’s still out cold I think.” Aiba pushed himself over to where Sho’s body had fallen. “Wake up Sho-chan…please…” he shook the older boy a few times.
“Aguamenti.” A bucket load of water poured out of Matsujun’s wand over Sho’s face, who began to cough and splutter.
“What?! What happened? Where am I?” He jolted upright to the over-happy Aiba who wrapped his arms around his loves neck and buried his head into his chest.
“Thank god you’re alright!” Aiba burst out into cheerful sobs.
“Was that really you-know-who?” Akanishi looked rather shaken and on edge, his glance constantly flinting to the dark trees of the forest. Matsujun just nodded in reply.

“Matsumoto!” Gussan’s bellowing voice zoomed out of the forest. “Is everything alright?!” He emerged out of the forest, Shigeru, Nino and Ohno trailing behind him.
“We heard Sho scream. What happened?!” Ohno and Nino rushed over to where Matsujun, Aiba and Sho were sat.
“What a fucking ridiculous detention! Oh, let’s go and get our students all killed!” Akanishi rounded on Gussan now, obviously slightly more at ease that they had been joined by the rest of the group.
“We saw…” Aiba started, but Matsujun gave him a look that told him to shut up.
“We saw a person in the forest. He was advancing on us; I think he was going to attack us…” Matsujun avoided mentioning who exactly he had thought he had seen.
“…and then Matsujun kind of made us all apparate here. It was pretty awesome…but scary.” Aiba added, a small grin returning to his face.
“How can you smile after all that?!” Sho cried exasperate, wiping sweat off his forehead.
“Ok guys, that’s most certainly enough for tonight.” Gussan gathered them all together to make their way back to the safety of his hut.

“You really think it was you-know-who?” Nino sat on the floor of the room of requirement, legs crossed.
“I don’t think, I know!” Matsujun repeated after the fifth time, his voice growing more and more aggravated.
“But if it was…why was he in the forest?” Sho pondered, staring into the flames of the fire.
“I think he was after someone…one of us…” Aiba muttered mysteriously, stroking Shimuken’s soft fur as he purred beside him.
“Why would he be after one of us?!” Sho exclaimed.
“Because he realises that I am more beautiful than him, durrbrain.” Matsujun spoke sarcastically.
“Whatever Princess. What I wanna know is how he has risen from the dead.” Came the cold reply from Nino.
“What if he’s a ghost? Like he has some unfinished business here…” Sho pondered on in his thoughts.
“A very real looking ghost at that.” Nino sniggered.
“Oh no!” Ohno suddenly squealed from the silent corner of the room, everyone jumped in surprise. “What if there was something here that he was looking for. Something that would help him become alive?”
“So you’re saying Sho’s right and he’s a ghost?” Nino raised an eyebrow.
“Maybe…but either way, he’s alive but barely. What is at this moment being concealed inside these walls?” Ohno looked more awake than ever before.
“Er….what?” Aiba and Sho said simultaneously.
“The stone of eternal youth!!” Matsujun and Nino jumped up triumphantly.
“And off course what could Lord Kimutaku want more than eternal youth?!”
“But he could never get to it while Johnny’s here. Hogwarts is too well protected.” Sho stated factually.
“But Gussan let it slip to us how to get past the dog…what if Lord Kimutaku had managed to get it out of him too?” Aiba blinked into the flames of the fire.
“He’s gonna go for it tonight.” Ohno spoke once more. The others turned to look at him. “Johnny’s out of the castle, he got called to the ministry early this afternoon, I heard Professor Okamoto tell Professor Akasawa during Transfiguration.”
“So you-know-who must know about it. He probably set it up even.” Sho’s skin was growing paler once more.
“We’ve got to stop him!” Aiba rose to his feet, leaving Shimuken asleep on the floor.
“We?!” Sho looked terribly frightened.
“Yes, Sakuwimp, we! Who’s gonna believe us after all?” Nino rolled his eyes. The five boys made their way over to the door, Aiba pulled out his cloak as they walked. Just then another figure rose from the shadows of a spare chair.
“Stop!” Sho, Nino, Ohno, Aiba and Matsujun all spun around on their heels to come face to face with Yokoyu’s outstretched arm.
