Summary: You've all read the HP books/seen the films right? Well, basically...this is gonna be my attempt at HP Arashi-style. lol. It's taken more from the film than the books because the films are nice and condensed. i don't want to end up re-writing all the books. xP

Aiba woke with a start, the dust from the ceiling of his tiny cupboard-like room falling onto him. He could hear every footstep his cousin took as he stampeded down the staircase above. Dragging himself slowly out of his bed he groaned, remembering what day it was today, his cousin’s birthday. Usually he loved birthdays. The cakes. The partys. It was always exciting, all except his cousin’s birthdays. They were always so boring with people he didn’t like coming in and out of the house. However, this year, Aiba suddenly remembered, his cousin wasn’t having a party, instead they would be going to the zoo. Aiba grinned at the sudden thought. He loved zoos. He loved animals. Quickly getting dressed, he rushed out and joined his aunt, uncle and cousin who were waiting by the car.

Once reaching the Zoo, Aiba was nearly wetting himself with excitement. He’d only been to the Zoo a few times before, on his own. His aunt and uncle never took him out. They didn’t like to be associated with him. Apparently he was too weird and did not come across normal enough for their liking. Rushing inside the Zoo, Aiba found himself in the reptile section. He spotted a large Python behind a smallish glass cage in the corner. It looked sad, or so Aiba thought. He wanted to go cheer it up. Walking over to the cage, he pressed his face slightly against the glass. The snake seemed to be looking directly at him. Aiba grinned. “Hey there.” He said, not noticing the many faces around him starring at him as if he was strange. (Which, in all honesty, he was.) “You don’t look to happy.”
The snake slithered forward, nearing itself to the glass, nodding its head in the direction of a small sign stood just to the right of Aiba. Taking a step backwards, Aiba looked at the sign.
“I see…you miss your home, right?” He turned back to the snake. “I’ve never been to Brazil. It sure sounds nice though. I’ve always…” but before he could finish his sentence he was abruptly shoved to the ground by his cousin. “Mum! Dad! Look! The Snake’s awake!” Aiba rolled his eyes at his cousin’s outburst. Suddenly, before he knew what had happened, the glass of the cage vanished and his cousin fell forwards into it. The snake slithered past his petrified cousin, escaping out of the cage. Aiba had never laughed more, that was until his Uncle gave him a hard stern look. He was sure he would be punished for what had happened, but, Aiba had to admit to himself as his uncle dragged him back home, it had been totally worth it.

Later that same week, more unusual things began to occur. Aiba received a letter. He never received letters. Before he could open it though, his uncle had snatched it away from him. There was something in the letter which his uncle did not want him to read, that was pretty obvious. Naturally, Aiba who was a curious person, wanted to find out what had been written inside that letter. He spent the next few days hanging around the post box, but nothing came. Rather downcast, he gave up hope. A few weeks later, the letter totally forgotten, the next strange thing occurred. Aiba had just got out of the shower when something large fluttered past the window. Opening the window slightly more, he peered out and was amazed at what he saw. A countless number of owls were perched all over his uncle’s car. There were more along the street. Another owl flew past. It was clutching a letter with one claw. Aiba immediately recognised the letter. It looked identical to the other one he had received a few weeks ago. Wrapping a towel hurriedly around his waist, he dashed out of the bathroom and headed down the stairs. He was halfway across the hallway when the house suddenly shook. Aiba stopped, standing dead still, unsure of what was happening.
“What the hell was that?!” Aiba’s uncle yelled, walking out of the lounge and glaring at half-naked Aiba.
“I…I…dunno” Aiba replied nervously. His uncle seemed to assume he had made the house shake. But before he could say a word, there was a loud Bang! And letters began streaming in through the post box. Shortly followed by letters zooming out of the fireplace in the lounge. Within a short amount of time there were letters streaming into the house from every possible gap. Aiba’s aunt screamed, grabbing his cousin and running out of the house.
Before his uncle could do the same with him, Aiba dodged past into the lounge, jumping up to grab a letter, not caring that his towel was now around his ankles. The letter in his hands, he attempted to escape to his room, but his uncle was waiting for him. He tried to fight against his uncle, but his uncle was rather a lot stronger than him.
“Let go of me!” He screamed, struggling against his uncle’s grip.
“Gimme that letter, boy!” His uncle ripped the letter out of his hand and pulled him outside. Aiba was kinda glad it was evening, the street was deserted. It would have been kinda embarrassing to have been seen like this, totally nude, by one of his neighbours.
“Here!” His uncle said gruffly throwing him his towel, not loosening his grip however. Aiba wrapped the towel around his waist for the second time that evening, before his uncle thrust him into the car beside his cousin, who was as white as a sheet.

His uncle drove them to a hut which stood in the middle of nowhere, it looked more like a garden shed to Aiba. They all piled into the hut, Aiba still clotheless with only the towel wrapped around him which did not keep him warm.
“We’re staying here tonight!” His uncle ordered. They all looked at his uncle with terrified eyes. Aiba would have asked about clothes, but right now he didn’t want to anger his uncle anymore. Sitting himself down on the cold floor he watched as the others drifted off to sleep. An hour or so passed and Aiba was shivering badly. He had never been so cold in his life, not even that time when he had fallen into a frozen lake after swearing he had seen a dolphin trapped underneath the ice. There was a sudden flash of blue light and Aiba watched, eyes wide, as the termite-infested wooden door was swept off its hinges and hit the floor with a loud crack! Aiba jumped, so did the others.
“WHAT THE BLAZES…” His uncle ran down the stairs, a rifle in his arms. His aunt hid herself behind him, pulling his cousin beside her. A tall and broad figure stepped over the broken door and into the hut. “Sorry ‘bout tha’.” He muttered, picking the door back up and slamming it back into its original place.
“I DEMAND TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE SIR!” Aiba watched his uncle shake with anger…or was it fear?
“Tatsuya Yamaguchi, Keeper of keys and grounds at Hogwarts.” The stranger bowed. “I’m here to pick up Masaki.” He looked around.
Aiba blinked. “Me?” He straightened himself up, making sure the towel was still securely wrapped around him. The stranger smiled. “Off course, didn’t think you’d have to find your way around all by yourself now, did you?”
Aiba blinked again. Maybe this was all just a dream? It couldn’t be though, he could still feel his wrist burning from where his uncle had grasped him tightly. Finally finding his voice again, he asked timidly, “Find my way around where exactly?”
“Diagon Alley, off course! Why, you need to get your robes and books for Hogwarts. Where else did you expect to get them from? These muggles can’t help you there.” Yamaguchi leapt up, eyeing Aiba.
“Huh? Diagon Alley? Robes? Muggles? Hogwarts? I’m sorry sir, I have no clue what you’re talking about.”
“You don’t know?! Where’d you think your parents learnt it all?!” Yamaguchi’s voice was rising rapidly.
“Learnt all what?”
“ALL WHAT?” Yamaguchi turned to Aiba’s uncle, cornering him. “YOU NEVER TOLD HIM?!” Aiba’s uncle dropped his rifle and stepped backwards mumbling some words Aiba couldn’t understand.
“Never told me what?” Aiba pushed on. Yamaguchi sighed, turning away from his uncle he walked towards him. “You’re a wizard Masaki.” He handed Aiba a letter. A letter which looked identical to those Aiba had been trying to read for weeks now.
