Later that night
It was four in the morning, so when Bianca entered the library she was surprised to find someone else there. Butch was standing near the window, looking out at the dark sky and giving his back to the vampire.
“How’s your arm?” Bianca asked softly, taking a step towards him.
Butch turned and did his best to cover the surprise on his face. “Better.”
“Can I take a look at it?” Bianca reached him slowly, and the werewolf raised an eyebrow.
“What are you, a doctor?” Butch chuckled, skeptical, but when Bianca glared, he just went to sit on the couch.
“Actually, I am.” Bianca sat in front of him and reached for the injured arm; at Butch’s curious glance she just shrugged. “I had a lot of spare time in the last years, and a lot of books.”
“Must have been a lonely life,” Butch mused as he finally let her grip his wrist. “Hiding from anyone who could recognize you.”
“It was,” Bianca admitted with a little sad smile as she started to undo the bandage on Butch’s forearm. “Hey, you’re not insulting me yet.”
“I can start anytime you want,” Butch retorted, but his lips were stretched in a smirk.
“You changed a lot.” Bianca raised the plaster carefully and glanced at the wound. The room was dark around them, but hey, being a vampire had its benefits and she could see without trouble. “The last time we met, you tried to shoot me.”
“Yeah, well, what can I say? I was pissed,” Butch admitted with a chuckle, while she started to put the bandage back in its place.
“Whatever hit you was kinda bad if you’re not healed yet.” Bianca bit on her lower lip, but didn’t let go of his arm.
“Very accurate diagnosis.” Butch smirked, looking at her face in the dark. “Magic caused it, so it’s probably gonna heal slowly and I’ll have a scar left.”
“Good thing it didn’t ruin any of the tattoos, then.” Bianca trailed her free hand up Butch’s arm, moving warily, as if she feared he was going to hit her.
“You like my tattoos?” Butch sounded incredulous and amused at the same time, and shivered a bit at the sensation of her fingertips brushing his skin.
“They’re fascinating,” Bianca admitted, and this time the smile was almost shy, much to the werewolf’s surprise. “What does this one mean?” she asked as her fingers stopped on the dices drawn on his inner arm, right above the elbow.
“I don’t think that’s any of your business.” It came out harsher than Butch really meant it to, and Bianca immediately let him go, her face hardening.
“Fine.” The girl started to stand, but Butch gripped her arm, pulling her back on the couch. “What?”
“What’s going on?” Butch asked and saw the girl look away. “I mean, first you act like a hyper kid and you jump me and you annoy me, and now you worry about my wound and you ask about my tattoos.”
“I thought it was clear,” Bianca said with a flat tone, looking at him again. “I’m interested in you and you’re not interested in me.”
“You’re a vampire,” Butch pointed out without really thinking about it.
“And you’re a werewolf.” Bianca rolled her eyes, trying to stand.
Butch stopped her again and tried to make eye contact. “Why are you interested in me?”
“Ah, that’s a really good question,” Bianca spat, then closed her eyes and took a deep breath before reopening them. “You freaking idiot, I’ve been since the last time we met.”
“When I tried to shoot you?” Butch frowned, clearly confused by that.
“No, that wasn’t nice.” Bianca glared, then looked at Butch’s arm. “I’m talking about the days before that, when we worked together, when we stopped the crazy dude that wanted to kill the Council, when we were a team.”
“Yeah, we were a good team,” Butch admitted with a little smile. “And that little shit was kind of nasty. What was his name?”
“Shaant.” Bianca chuckled, shaking her head.
There were several seconds of silence and they both felt the tension grow between them. “Listen--” Butch finally said, but Bianca turned quickly towards him and pushed her lips to his.
The werewolf hummed something, surprised, then brought his hand to Bianca’s cheek, deepening the kiss slowly. It lasted just a few seconds, and Butch pulled her closer; then she withdrew, a little flushed, and placed a last kiss on the corner of Butch’s mouth.
“I’ll leave you alone,” Bianca whispered as she stood from the couch, and before Butch could react and grab her, she was out of the room.

One day later
As soon as Mikey entered Bryce’s room, the werewolf slapped him. Hard.
“What the fuck were you thinking?” Bryce almost yelled, fisting Mikey’s shirt. “Why didn’t you tell me about werewolf blood?”
“I had my reasons.” Mikey freed himself from Bryce’s grip and walked towards the wardrobe. “We need to talk.”
“We don’t.” Bryce looked at him with a resigned expression. “Tom screaming to fuck him harder is more than enough of an explanation.”
“Good, then we won’t have to make awkward, stupid scenes.” Mikey started to collect his clothes, angry.
“Good,” Bryce whispered and just watched as Mikey gathered his things. When the vampire arrived at the door, Bryce felt his heart clench.
Mikey stopped dead in his tracks as soon as he felt the wave of emotions that came from Bryce. Rage, sadness, hurt. With a sigh, he put everything on the ground and turned.
“What now?” Bryce spat with a glare.
“I don’t want to leave you like this,” Mikey whispered, looking at him in the eye. “You deserve better.”
“I agree with that.” Bryce’s tone was still angry, but his gaze softened.
“I was using you, I was trying to-- I don’t know who I was trying to be, but that wasn’t me, Bryce.” Mikey shook his head, looking at the werewolf.
“You know it was. Somehow.” Bryce took a step towards him, smiling sadly. “But I wasn’t the right person to be with, right?”
“Right,” Mikey admitted, feeling his chest tighten. “I really like you, though, you’re nice and caring, and you ask for nothing in return.” Bryce looked at him in the eye at that. “And you give great head.”
“Pig.” Bryce laughed, a light blush coloring his cheeks.
“Is there a chance you won’t hate me once I walk out of that door?” Mikey saw the doubt in Bryce’s eyes and took a deep breath.
“This is the second time I get dumped since I got here.” Bryce chuckled, shaking his head.
“You could make a t-shirt, ‘Twice in three weeks. Beat that, bitches’ or something like that,” Mikey suggested, and immediately felt relieved when Bryce laughed.
“I’ll be okay,” Bryce said after a few seconds, looking at Mikey. “I’ll just need time.”
“I’ll keep Tom off your back,” Mikey promised, glancing towards the door.
“I hope so.” Bryce chuckled and went towards the wardrobe. “Go back to him.”
“Bryce.” Mikey waited for the werewolf to look at him again. “I’m sorry.”
“Me too,” Bryce whispered before turning towards the window.
Mikey got the message and collected his things quickly, then left the room quietly. He reached the door right next to it and entered.
“Whoa, that was fast.” Tom arched an eyebrow as soon as the door closed after Mikey.
“He heard us having sex.” Mikey shook his head and put his clothes on the bed.
“Really? I guess we’re even, then.” Tom’s smirk had a trace of satisfaction in it and the other vampire glared.
“Don’t be mean to him,” Mikey warned him, walking towards the point where he was standing. “Promise me?”
“Fine.” Tom let out an annoyed sigh and resisted a bit when Mikey circled his waist with both arms.
“Let’s go downstairs, I think Pete and Matt are insulting each other again,” Mikey whispered against the boy’s jaw.
“Nah, let’s just stay here and have sex.” Tom tilted his head and bit gently on Mikey’s lower lip.
“Your wing is still injured, it won’t heal if you keep straining the muscle.” Mikey brought his hand to the sane wing and caressed it. “And you kind of strain a lot of muscles when you have sex, you know?”
“Details.” Tom huffed, slightly annoyed. “I don’t wanna go downstairs.”
Mikey hesitated a few seconds, studying the other vampire’s expression closely. When he saw a little flicker of shame in his eyes, he understood. “They already saw your wings, there’s no need to hide now.”
“What if they ask questions?” Tom rested his forehead on Mikey’s collarbone, closing his eyes.
“They won’t.” Mikey kept stroking the uninjured wing soothingly.
“They’re black, Mikey.” Tom withdrew enough to glare at his Sire.
“Fine, then we’ll tell them the truth.” Mikey nodded, both his voice and his face serious. “It was my fault, not yours.”
“They’re still black wings, Mikey, they feel so fucking wrong,” Tom muttered the last part, then shook his head and broke the embrace.
Mikey gripped his arm and pulled him close again. “Wanna know a secret?”
“What?” Tom looked skeptical and worried at the same time.
“I know they represent something awful,” Mikey paused, moving his lips to Tom’s ear. “But you look so fucking good with them, they just make me want to bend you over and fuck you so hard.”
“Shit, Mikes,” Tom whispered, not even realizing he used the nickname. “If you really want me to come downstairs, you have to stop saying this shit.”
“As soon as your wing heals, I’ll show you exactly what I mean.” Mikey bit on Tom’s earlobe, smirking.
“I’ll take you up on that,” Tom muttered and turned his head, catching Mikey’s mouth with his own in a quick kiss. “But now if you don’t want me to strain my muscles, we’d better go downstairs.”
Mikey just smirked and headed for the door, quickly followed by Tom.

“Spencer is literally freaking out.” William entered the room laughing and Gabe turned to look at him. “I think Jon is about to shoot him.”
“Still fanboy-ing over Brian Molko?” Gabe asked from the bed, equally amused.
“Molko is like, his Holy Grail. He studied all the legends and documents he could find about him.” William sat down in front of him and kept smiling. “Even Bellamy is shocked.”
“And Bianca says Matt is Brian’s first fanboy.” Gabe snickered, pulling his boyfriend closer.
“I thought they couldn’t stand each other.” William frowned, visibly surprised. “I mean, Bellamy hates vampires.”
“People change a lot when they fall in love.” Gabe smiled warmly and placed a kiss on William’s jaw. “And from what Brian told Bianca, he and Matt have been going at it like rabbits for a while now.”
“And I guess he told Bianca in a supposedly confidential conversation, didn’t he?” William tilted his head to the side, smirking.
“Kind of,” Gabe admitted, laughing. “But he should know better.”
“Is that why they’re not even doing their job anymore?” William asked, his smile slowly turning into a frown.
“I don’t think they’re having sex 24/7.” Gabe laughed again, shaking his head. “But yeah, I guess their relationship isn’t the best thing for the Council.”
“Should we tell Pete and Butch?” William bit on his lip and watched as Gabe lied down.
“I think Bianca already took care of that.” Gabe shrugged and grinned. “Turns out it wasn’t really all that confidential.” He laughed as he added this.“Oh, and she finally told me who her Sire is.”
“Brian?” William’s eyes widened in surprise. “That makes you almost like relatives.”
“If you want to see it that way, that makes me Pete’s cousin.” Gabe snickered as William looked even more shocked. “Ashlee and Bianca are both Brian’s Childer”
“I’m not sure I want to see it that way.” William shook his head, unbelieving.
“Also because that’d make me your dad and that’s just a no,” Gabe agreed with an amused smirk. “But yeah, Spencer’s gonna hate me when he finds out I’m Brian’s grandChilde.”
“GrandChilde isn’t a word, Gabe.” William arched an eyebrow, perplexed.
“Details.” Gabe shrugged dismissively.
William chuckled and lied down with him, placing a kiss on his chest. For several seconds there was a relaxed silence and Gabe started to stroke William’s back with his hand.
“Have you talked to Mikey?” Gabe whispered, his tone careful. He knew William was still shaken from Mikey’s words in the basement and he didn’t want to upset him even more.
“Kinda.” William closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. “He’s sorting things out with Tom and Bryce.”
“He didn’t mean those words.” Gabe knew he’d said it hundreds of times, but he couldn’t help it. William had killed Gerard so that Gabe hadn’t had to do it and that made him feel so freaking guilty.
“I know. He apologized in a very unusual way.” William looked up and addressed Gabe a little smirk.
“How?” Gabe arched an eyebrow, curious but not worried.
“With words.” William chuckled, resting his chin on Gabe’s chest. “Actual, honest, straightforward words.”
“Death kind of turned him into a better person,” Gabe mused, his hand trailing from William’s back to his hair.
“You’re lucky I’m so fucking gone for you, then,” William purred as Gabe’s fingers moved against his scalp.
“Was there a moment when you thought you were gonna choose him?” Gabe asked with a whisper, knowing it was a mistake, but unable to stop himself.
“That’s the kind of question you don’t ask your boyfriend, Gabe.” William pursed his lips, not really annoyed, just careful.
“I won’t get mad, I swear,” Gabe promised, looking at William in the eye. “And I’ll never, ever throw it back in your face.”
“Gabe,” William said in a warning tone, holding the other vampire’s gaze.
“Was there?” Gabe just asked again, a little smile stretching his lips.
“Yes,” William admitted, speaking softly and lowering his eyes. “That day in the training room. When we went upstairs, it was one of the rare moments he was actually sweet and somehow caring, in his own way.”
“Thinking that I nearly lost you because I was being an idiot still terrifies me,.” Gabe admitted and William looked up, surprised to see him biting on his lower lip. “Thinking that I nearly lost you twice because I was being an idiot makes me want to shoot my own foot.”
“Things are okay now.” William smiled up at him, his hand traveling down Gabe’s side slowly and stopped at his hip. “Well, besides the whole ‘we might die every minute if demons attack’ part.”
“Nah, Brian Molko will protect us.” Gabe smirked and pulled William closer. “He’s my grandSire, after all.”
“Oh, now I can sleep well,” William muttered, clearly sarcastic.
~~
“D’you think he would let me write his biography?” Spencer wondered as he sat down next to Jon on the couch in the library. Sisky and Alex were sitting on the one in front of them. “I mean, I can only imagine how many amazing things he saw in his life.”
“How old is he?” Jon frowned, not really all that enthusiastic.
“I told you, nine hundred and eighty-four.” Spencer rolled his eyes, looking at his boyfriend. “He’s the oldest vampire left on the planet.”
“Hmm.” Jon nodded slowly, then looked back at his crosswords.
“Hmm?” Spencer arched an eyebrow, confused. “Jon, he’s one of the reasons I stayed with the clan, I’ve wanted to meet him since… since I heard about him for the first time.”
“Great.” Jon addressed him a little smile, then looked down again. “I’m happy you fulfilled your biggest dream.”
Spencer was about to reply, but he saw Sisky gesture him to cut it off. Spencer just frowned a bit more and shook his head, confused. “You’re acting like I kicked Dylan.”
“I just want to finish this,” Jon said with an even voice, not looking up from the page.
Brian entered the library in that moment and Spencer’s face lit up immediately, much to Jon’s silent annoyance.
“I believe we had a chat scheduled.” Brian smiled widely at Spencer, who just stood from the couch and reached him. “I never met someone so dedicated to my life, not even myself.”
“Am I being a creep?” Spencer asked with a worried look on his face.
“You’re being cute,” Brian reassured him, gesturing towards the table on the other side of the room. “And okay, maybe a little bit of a stalker, but it’s fine with me.”
Spencer let out a soft laughter at that and sat next to the vampire, while Alex and Sisky watched the scene with identical frowns.
“What d’you want to know about me?” Brian tilted his head to the side.
“I don’t want to be too nosy,” Spencer admitted as his fingers started to play with a pencil he found on the table.
“Don’t worry, I’m not gonna yell at you or anything.” Brian laughed, looking directly at Spencer. “I just won’t answer if I don’t want to.”
“Okay.” Spencer bit on his lip, thinking. “Are you really Bianca’s Sire?”
“Yep. And Ashlee’s,” Brian confirmed without hesitation. “My only two Childer.”
“What about--” Spencer stopped, shaking his head. “Never mind. I really have no idea what to ask you, they all seem stupid questions now,” he admitted with a little smile. “Tell me something.”
“Well, I can tell you about that time this crazy kid, Shaant, and his clan wanted to kill us.” Brian shrugged, amused. “Bianca just reminded me of that and I think it’s interesting enough to end up in your book.”
“How d’you know I’m writing a book?” Spencer looked at him, baffled.
“You’re not the first fanboy I meet, I know the type.” Brian stood from the chair, gesturing Spencer to do the same.
“Oh.” Spencer stood as well and frowned when Brian offered him his arm.
“But I repeat, no one has ever been so dedicated, and so cute.” Brian smiled widely and Spencer took his arm. “I guess the story is worth a walk in the moonlight.”
Just as they were about to exit, Mikey and Tom walked in. Spencer addressed them a smile and mouthed ‘Oh my god!’ at them, causing Tom to laugh. Once Brian and Spencer were out of the room, Mikey turned to look at Jon and frowned.
“Not really my business, Walker, but… why aren’t you beating the shit out of Molko?” Mikey reached the couch and sat down, then without a word he gripped Tom’s arm and pulled him in his lap.
“Because Spencer would probably take his side,” Jon muttered, pushing the pen against the paper so hard it sank, breaking the page in half. “God, I want to kick that stupid asshole in the balls so hard.”
“I suggest you don’t do it.” Matt smirked from the doorstep, then took a few steps inside. “Anyway, if my boyfriend makes a move on your boyfriend, you totally have my support to kick his ass.”
“Your boyfriend?” Mikey’s eyes widened in surprise, and Tom smiled, circling his shoulders with an arm. “Wait a minute, I thought you two--”
“No, we don’t really hate each other anymore.” Matt shrugged and sat down next to Alex. “And no, vampires don’t bug me like they used to. Well, just Wentz and a few others.”
“Correct me if I’m wrong,” Mikey started, glaring at Matt, “you put Pete and Patrick through hell for being in love, you tried in every way to stop them, you fucking declared them fair game for whoever wanted to kill them… and now you and Brian are together?”
“Yes, why? Is it a problem?” Matt arched an eyebrow, amused by Mikey’s reaction.
“I’d watch my back if I were you.” Mikey grinned back, pulling Tom closer in his lap. “I’d watch my back even when I’m sleeping.”
“I’ll do that, Mr. I-almost-married-a-werewolf-too.” Matt saw the flash of anger in Tom’s eyes and smirked.
“Can you two just shut up?” Alex rolled his eyes, while Sisky snickered with his head resting on the boy’s shoulder. “You’re making my head hurt again.”
“Just so you know, Matt, the werewolf is not the one who got Mikey’s dick up his ass last night.” Tom addressed a sarcastic smile at Matt and felt Mikey press a kiss to his jaw. “So I guess almost is the key word.”
“Eww, Tommy, too much information.” Sisky closed his eyes, shaking his head, while both Jon and Alex laughed.
~~
“So, you and Bianca,” Greta started as she helped Butch with the new fields they were placing in the garden.
“I’m not sleeping with a vampire,” Butch replied without looking at her, going through the pages of the book in his hands.
“You slept with so many things in your life.” Greta smirked, elbowing him playfully.
“You’re confusing me with Joe, darling.” Butch turned his head and flashed a grin in her direction.
“Hey, that was a low blow.” Greta slapped him on the arm, but she was laughing too.
“I know.” Butch collected a little bag from the ground and shrugged.
“Seriously, though, I think you’d be a good pair.” Greta’s smile was softer now, warmer. “You should give it a try.”
“Yeah, well, I’ll think it over. Happy, now?” Butch rolled his eyes, exasperated, ignoring the fact that he just lied shamelessly. He’d been thinking the thing over for several hours; days, if he wanted to be honest.
They both kept working in silence after that and when they turned towards the house to check how much they still had to do, they both frowned.
“Is that Brian?” Butch squinted and frowned, surprised.
“Is he kissing Spencer?” Greta’s mouth dropped open and Butch arched an eyebrow at her.

A/N:Did you really think Joncer was safe in all this? Well, it’s not. LOL But this might not end too bad. Maybe.
On the other hand, something is finally moving between Bianca and Butch, much to Greta’s amusement, apparently.
Next one will be kind of a quiet chapter, but don’t let it fool you, drama is very, very near. And don’t forget Dirnt, Travis and Haley are out of the Manor, so they’re in constant danger.
Also, if you missed it, I posted the third part of the Peterick prequel:
We might have said goodbye just a little soon (We're throwing stones at a glass moon) - Part 3 of 3 What else? See you next week, folks. Let me know what you think about this. ;)
