I am curious to know how tall you all are.  I'm barely 5' 1" (on a good day in the morning).  People often perceive me as taller and we all know everyone is tall and thin and beautiful (which you all are, of course) on the internet.

lewisian_gneiss wrote a lovely autumnal story in which she mentions being able to make an itching powder out of rosehips.  I had never heard of this and didn't know if it was because I was American or because I'm an uneducated city bumpkin (if you'll excuse the mashing of metaphors:)).  Did you all know about that?

Ok, my next question is how long does it take you cook dinner? I think tonight it took me over two hours. That is unusual. It is usually closer to 1 1/2 hours I think. And I'm counting from the time I started to the time I put everything in the oven. Taking stuff out an hours later and doing nothing in between doesn't count. And stopping 20 ( Read more... )
