lewisian_gneiss wrote a lovely autumnal story in which she mentions being able to make an itching powder out of rosehips.  I had never heard of this and didn't know if it was because I was American or because I'm an uneducated city bumpkin (if you'll excuse the mashing of metaphors:)).  Did you all know about that?
skuares , who is Swedish, also knew this cute little tidbit.

In other news, I've been obsessing about sewing all day, so if you want to talk to me a sergers, go for it!  I'm going to feed kids and run back downstairs to do more sewing:D
