lewisian_gneiss wrote a lovely autumnal story in which she mentions being able to make an itching powder out of rosehips.  I had never heard of this and didn't know if it was because I was American or because I'm an uneducated city bumpkin (if you'll excuse the mashing of metaphors:)).  Did you all know about that?

Ha! I feel vindicated already:D Rosehips are more like a berry. They make a very nice tea....

LOL. I've seen rosehips before, but can't remember where. I think I've eaten them too.
