Time flies when you are busy.  It was an eventful fall and I cannot wait for the winter.  Here's my accountability stuff.

1. drop 15% of my body weight (I'm down 9.5% right now): I lost 10% of my body weight this fall.  I've gained two pounds back, but should lose that once the holiday eating stops.

Here's my point.  I have a literature degree and have read very few of these books on Time's top 100 list and I've read a lot of great literature and other books by writers on this list.  Right now I'm reading The Bluest Eye and two parenting books: The Successful Child and Montessori From the Start.

Summer is by far my favorite season.  I love the heat--so hot you can barely breath and the only thing to do is head out to the pool or the mall or a park at sunset and enjoy long days and tank tops and cold beer and movies.  There really isn't anything to dislike (except maybe old people dieing from heat).

Ugh. Vacation Bible School.
