Still here
It´s been a rough three weeks. First I got a cold that turned into flu, then I caught Daniels gastro, then I got some terrible fever blisters on my lip, I have about 5 little ones that have swollen my whole bottom lip. So I guess my system was really run down. Energy levels were at -10. But finally I am feeling like myself again! Thank heaven ( Read more... ) -

Another week goes by...
Blizzard winds outside, but that hasn´t stopped me from getting out and about. I went to help our friend Gale with her final cleaning yesterday. I love spending time with her. The lady that came to sign the contract wondered why I would "just" help someone clean. I told her it´s all about karma. And seriously it is, that and also friendship. ( Read more... ) -

I´ve seriously messed up my sleeping patterns. When it´s cold and dark outside, I tend to enjoy having a nap which actually turns out to be about a 3 hour sleep in the afternoon. So by bedtime, I am not sleepy. I do try to fall asleep but it just doesn´t come, so I get up and watch a bit of TV or surf the net. Blah ( Read more... ) -
Getting focused
For a long time now I have been very unhappy about my health. I put on quite a bit of weight when I moved here. Nothing like a cold dark winter to help you sit in front of a fire place and enjoy the comforts of food. Time to get a bit busy
I try to sew. I´m not the most patient person at a sewing machine, but I do enjoy the time I am there as long as it´s going my way. Just been to Jysk where they are selling out some of their materials at give away prices, I am now armed with around 12 meters of two different fabrics. What a year that was! So I haven´t posted forever and a day and you know how the scheme of things go. It´s like when you haven´t been in touch with a friend for awhile and you really want to get in touch but you feel guilty and most of the time you just let it slide until maybe you bump into them and feel even worse. Does anyone else out there get emotional at the end of a year? I was drinking a cup of coffee this morning thinking of various people and the tears just started rolling down.
