Life goes on and on

It´s been a pretty darn good week.

Got to meet up with some friends for dinner. Lunch with my ex-boss. Fika with my South African friend D who I look on as my extended family. She has such beautiful girls. They are 18 and 16 years old and both so smart and they really seem to have their heads screwed on right. I look at them and feel a sense of confidence for the future of our world because they will be good for our future. They will succeed and go very far in life.

Got a negative reply to the first interview that I went to two weeks ago. Must say it was almost a sigh of relief to not get THAT job. The atmostphere at the company was very sterile. I am waiting for word from my interview last week. Now that is where I AM going to work. Happy people there, I like that. I will get that job. Did I mention I will get that job?

We spent virtually the whole of Saturday on our couch watching movies, eating good food, playing scrabble and cuddling.

We´ve bought fish! We always tell people after they inquire about whether we have children or not, that we need to check if we can keep fish alive before we have children. (This is just to make light of the fact that I do not want to have children). Some people don´t understand that. I love kids, adore them actually. But hell I am heading into my 40´s, I have become very selfish with myself and my time. I would rather enjoy my family and friends children. That fixes any urge that may arise.

The fish are very relaxing to watch. They swim back and forth, up and down, their colors shine out and they are so quiet when we sleep in. Love our kids.

Daniel will be working away this week. So if you have time to meet up for fika or dinner, give me a yell, it will be nice to get out and see you.

Have a great week!
