Getting focused

For a long time now I have been very unhappy about my health. I put on quite a bit of weight when I moved here. Nothing like a cold dark winter to help you sit in front of a fire place and enjoy the comforts of food. Ha, the first time I got on a bike in Sweden, I hadn't been cycling for over 35 years. I couldn't remember how to stop it all of a sudden, so I found grass and just fell off! But I grew to love, love, love my bike. Must try to buy another bike now that I'm further out in the country.

It really is nice to live in a place that is so bike friendly. I´m still not handling trafic well, but that is just a matter of self confidence.

Hehehe! I also keep my eye out for soft landing places. Glad you got back into cycling.

Good for you, Jacqui! That's what I did last year and it made a HUGE difference. I need to get back on the bandwagon now, after the Christmas indulgences, though. Thanks for the motivating shove in the right direction :)

That´s it Liz, each foot follows another.

To keep myself focused on walking, I recall a conversation I had with a friend, she said "the fat will just melt off when you go walking". So as I walk I think of my fat melting.
