I don't like to admit it, but I found out lately that I not only dislike Spock/Kirk, I loathe it with a burning fire unparalleled by the incandescent blaze of a star in supernova. For dinner, I bought myself some sushi and a mango/pineapple/yogurt smoothie yesterday as a reward for all the insanity I had to deal with on my week back from Belgium. I don't believe that a writer should hate any of the characters that they write. This goes for fan fiction and regular fiction, mind you.
