I have been far too hectic to post properly lately. I have, at least, managed to make some headway into the disaster area that is my room. This is of the Good. SO. I offer to you my thoughts on yaoi my belated thoughts on some of the media I've been imbibing, namely: Shrek 4, Glee, and Doctor Who.

After re-watching Gundam Wing, I realize that the show is packed with female characters that would make for my ideal anime series: each of the women are strong in their own ways, they are all distinctly unique and have personalities as people and not just 'female characters', and they are all immensely likable for what they are ( Read more... )

So, I really dislike the word 'slut'. It's an insult based on ages of denying women sexual freedom and enjoyment, and denigrates women who enjoy sex and embrace their own sexuality.
