The tiniest camcorders ever??
I found out about these tiny camcorders the other day and I was amazed. I grew up knowing about the medium-sized Video 8 camcorders back home so this was stunning. They look nice and cool too. Just like iPhones. Mmmmm... -
Pardoning Turkeys.... Not
Happy Turkey Day! I was invited to a Thanksgiving lunch. It was fabulous. I ate turkey with stuffing and ham and cranberry sauce and had pumpkin pie and some home-made cake for dessert. Symphony No 7
Yay! I finally managed to hear Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 being performed in real life yesterday! I listened to the Seattle Symphony Orchestra perform it wonderfully. It's a chaotic world
Interesting times, these days. Economic crisis, companies going bankrupt, laying off employees. War against terrorism. Iraq. Afghanistan. Global warming - heck last week there were a few record high temps over here. My apartment. Well... that last one isn't quite true - it's somewhat chaotic but not as bad as it could have been.
Life goes on. -

Dogfood
I've been giving the stupid barking dog dog biscuits that were given to me by my landlord so that it would quiet down and let me get in through the gate. This week things seem much better as it didn't bark at all for two days of me leaving and returning (the latter with dog biscuits). New Office
Yippee! I celebrate because I just moved into a new office - my own office. With a window. It's almost like a promotion! :p Actually, a lot of us moved into new offices overnight. What the Mahler?
Mahler's Symphony of a Thousand is much _less_ boring when watched live with 240 choral singers and 115 or so orchestra members. This is why I feel that it's important to watch the real thing for classical music as opposed to just sticking to recordings.
