I found a wiki with tons of musical scores for classical pieces.
I found the scores for Brahms' Symphony No. 1!!
Damn. They're so hard to read. o.0; I wonder how Chiaki did it in Nodame. I couldn't catch up with the orchestra while following the score, but I get an idea. Somewhat.

Bad bad dog
Today I forgot to bring the dog biscuits to my car so when I got home, the damn dog was around and started barking and growling. Since it was so close to the gate leading to my apartment, and the makeshift fence the landlord erected wasn't that high, I was afraid that it would be aggressive enough to jump the fence and attack me. Let biting dogs die
One of my landlord's dogs attacked me earlier this week. It smelled me and must've gotten confused, didn't like it, or whatever. It started growling and tried to bite me but mostly bit my jacket and tore a hole in it. >.> Seconds later it backed off - maybe it remembered me or something. Gas stoves
It's scary to use gas stoves, which is what I have in my new apartment. I wanted to bake something for dinner tonight but I couldn't figure out why the oven wasn't heating up after I turned the knob. GPS and traffic
Today was Saturday. (Duh!) I drove out from my new apartment to the nearby town to do what I hoped to be weekly grocery shopping. I was horrified to see an extremely long line of cars leading away from the intersection and towards the town I was heading. It was a one-lane road. New Apartment
So yeah... this post is a few days late, but I had to let the dust settle on my new move before I announced it here: I moved!! XD
I moved on Sunday with help from nyankoframe. Of all days, the last weekend of the month had to be a holiday weekend. It was hard to find people to help move. Although we had trouble dismantling my IKEA bed frame at one point, I ( Read more... ) -

Underestimation.... of doom!
As always, with packing, I underestimated the time it takes and the amount of space (boxes) it takes to pack my belongings for my move on Sunday. What seemed like very few things turned out to be a lot more and I spent many hours packing the things in my room and in the kitchen. No TV for me
In the end, a proposal to share the owner's Internet service fell through as she did not hear back from a computer support guy who would be able to do it and answer my questions about some network settings I needed. Therefore, I went ahead with getting a separate Internet-only line from Comcast, which unfortunately didn't allow me to get the $19.99 ( Read more... ) -
To watch cable or not to watch...
One lesson of staying in a MIL apartment: Lack of control over subscribing to "utility" services, including Internet. So I found out today when I tried to place an order for Comcast cable Internet at my soon-to-be-apartment that my landlord already has Comcast Internet.
