...someone described my band as "sad-prog-folk" the other day. it kindof saddens me. though i suppose it does imply that they thought we could actually play our instruments and keep time and what not. i guess thats kindof nice.

One of my many musical kicks as of late has been the two minute miracles...it's andy magoffin's band (he's the miracle maker at the house of miracles (i.e. the place where almost all the three gut bands recorded)), and they just put out a sweet new record and are touring...and will be at amigo's next weekend (the 24th). sooo, turns out this whole, being perpetually being sick, me getting colds, loosing my voice etc, etc that seems to have not stopped since april is due to an 'over-use' injury of my stupid voice....I really should have kept up the old introverted, quiet, awkward kid routine that got me so far my first quarter century of life, it seemed so much ( Read more... )

Yes, after a ridiculously busy summer, we've finally finished some recordings and are nearly set to go on a long awaited tour. I believe the album is being mastered as we speak and many of my free evenings the last couple weeks were spent hand drawing album covers and pasting beautiful photo's by Mr. Patrick Schmidt onto them...so in my completely ( Read more... )
