I was contacted by another Ravelry user to let me know that she'd cast on one of my projects, the Celtic Wanna Be tote bag.  So, the pattern has gone from getting lots of hearts, to getting in people's queues of knitting projects, to actually, honestly, being worthy of being knit by someone else!  I'm so excited!

Kids:  watched Jake's 2nd basketball game, and was once again impressed by their teamwork.  Great game, too - very close, but they won, 12-13.  Afterwards, played around with his christmas present from nana and papa - a metal detector.  We were lucky.  We found metal!

I don't feel like I got as much done today as yesterday, but it was a nice one all the same.  Finished the last bits of a soaker this morning, and another one this afternoon (gotta love that about basketball practice.)  Listed two of the soakers on etsy as sale/seconds items, because of a glitch in my kitchener stitch.  (that's fixed now, and, ( Read more... )

Went to work.  Left work a little early because I was feeling completely wiped, and my arm and leg were sore from the fall yesterday.

Finished knitting another soaker.  It looks very cute.

Finally got a semi decent photo of my new bag, wrote up and posted the pattern on my knitting blog.
