I  made my first loan through Kiva today.  This could be a bit addicting and fun and exciting.

My brother in law, Bob, brought over a wooly board that he made for me.  I'll post pictures of it another time, but basically, it's a contraption used for blocking sweaters after they're knit.  Now I just have to finish some of those sweaters I've started.

The chicken kurma went over well tonight.  4 out of 4 humans in our household ate it, with most of them going back for more.  That's a keeper.  Plus, there's a unanimous approval of the bread and potato grenades, and the potato filling is good even when it's just fried up ala hash browns ( Read more... )

I absolutely love it when the weather is nice enough to keep windows open.  While we've used the a/c a bit during the day times, we've kept windows open at night, and have had the back doors open in the mornings, too.  The kitties have definitely dug being able to go out to the back porch ( Read more... )
