So, what's up?

I  made my first loan through Kiva today.  This could be a bit addicting and fun and exciting.

My brother in law, Bob, brought over a wooly board that he made for me.  I'll post pictures of it another time, but basically, it's a contraption used for blocking sweaters after they're knit.  Now I just have to finish some of those sweaters I've started.

In knitting, I'm about finished up with a little blanket that I've been making out of left over yarn that's washable.  It's quite pretty and stripey.  I have finished the body of my mom's sweater , but now it's time to work on the sleeves.  I have made good progress on my stranded sweater in purples and greens (so pretty! pictures later).  I have an idea for a vest for Bob, which should be a colorful but easy knit.  (Bob's great, cause I think he's one of the few guys i know that would wear something colorful!)  And I ordered a bunch of Cascade 220 from Webs, because it was on sale for cheap.  That should come just in time for me to whip up a little bag for spring.  (flowers!  fun!)

Molly's glasses arrived in the mail today.  A photograph will be taken tomorrow.  She looks very cute.

We had a meeting with Jake's orthodontist to plan out his treatment.  Happily, we didn't faint from the amount quoted.  We're actually going to be able to walk in to the first appointment with a partial payment, then pay $100 a month for 10 months.  We can handle that.  Yay.

Things are good, and new babies have been born.  (and not to me.  Yay)
