My mom made a butter pecan cake on Wednesday, using the coconut pecan frosting she'd bought. Pretty much everyone had gone to bed by the time I got off the computer last night. I kept hearing weird things, but it was just grandma--she'd brought along her Water Pik, and it was pretty loud in the powder room, and then I heard what sounded like the storm door opening/closing but it ended up being one of grandma's bags falling on the floor. I may have mentioned that back at Black Friday, my mom got my dad an inflatable bed. It's in part because dad goes to visit his friends' places up in Wisconsin and there's not always a bed.
