Oh man. I am apartment shopping three months (at least) too early. I want to move out of the studio that we are in now because of all of the construction stuff that's going on. I am so proud of myself. Today I cooked up corned beef all by my self. I've never done that before. It took about three hours but it was so worth it! We had corned beef and potatoes for dinner while watching Boondocks Saints. And for dessert - Guiness milkshakes! I am soooo full.

Yesterday was a reminder of life for me. The morning and early afternoon were wonderful. The weather was perfect, I was productive on my report, I took a healthy hike, ate a delicious lunch and spent an hour and a half soaking up the sun on the beach. I feel so great today! I just came back from a wonderful hike up the Firestone Trail. It was especially great because of my hiking outfit- hiking boots, knee high white socks, short black shorts, a neon pink sport bra, and a white bandanna. Yes, I do have photos. Anyway, so great. Well, it has certainly been a long time since I have last updated and I now sort of finally have time. I am still in Costa Rica; I have only another 22 days before I head home. I'm alive, just barely. I am exhausted and frustrated and working my ass off. The internet is so testy here. I haven't checked my flist since I was in Carrillos. I am with my second family now and working at the field station. I'll update another time when I am not so negative. Tomorrow we've got a snorkeling field trip. I will update on Wednesday.
