Volunteering

I don't actually make New Year's resolutions, but I've been seeing that a number of my friends are, and one of the common resolutions is to find volunteer opportunities.

The Vinyl Vault
Having had little work to do lately, I've given myself a project: I'm working, again, at converting the music from my vinyl records into digital form. It's an interesting process, because I don't trust the auto trackmark system, so doing a conversion involves really listening to each album, and doing nothing else while I do so.

Burglary
On Monday I left the house to take a friend to lunch on her birthday. When I returned home four hours later, the dogs were frantic. I went into the office to check email...and the computer wasn't there. The monitor was, and the external drive and other peripheries...but not the computer.
