Why are people so stupid?

The verb persevere comes from the Latin root persevereus. That word translates to “continue steadfastly, persist”. It is a combination of two others words per-“very” severus-“strict”. Today would have been dad’s birthday. He would have been 74. It’s funny I never thought of him as old he was just always dad.
