Merry Merry
Christmastime is here. (It’s been here since before Halloween of you ask Walmart) We put up the tree and the lights and we finished shopping for Logan and did just a little for each other. This Christmas is like many others that came before. Money is a little scarce, but we have managed to make a Christmas with much less. It’s not about that anyway, that’s a cliche but it’s true I suppose.
Honestly life is pretty good. I have a decent job, we are all healthy, everything is relatively peaceful. Sometimes I get a little sad about family we’ve lost, and just how time changes things and people. It has to be that way though. That’s just how life is. There are no instructions for the things that we have to go through, we just have to push ahead. (That’s easier said than done.) If you don’t push ahead one day life will have drug you to the end and all your days will be left behind you. I’ve been drug by life a few times. I don’t want it to be that way anymore. I reckon everyone deserves to be happy sometimes, even you and me kiddies.
I don’t really have any real point to this update, just prattling I guess.
