...I need a baseball icon.

On the 5 o'clock news, they just showed this mother-and-daughter duo who've been attending Cardinals games together since 1951, and the mother has been attending them since 1926 (when the Cards first won the World Series).  ...Goddamn, that's devotion.  And Cardinals fans are so nice.  This is why I freaking love my city.

1. I'm holding up pretty well since Scottie's death.  The first day, we all kept breaking down, but we've been getting better each day.  Little things keep catching my attention, like not having to push my plate forward at mealtimes (since no one will gobble it up)...but also, there isn't anyone to give the leftovers to.
