On the 5 o'clock news, they just showed this mother-and-daughter duo who've been attending Cardinals games together since 1951, and the mother has been attending them since 1926 (when the Cards first won the World Series). ...Goddamn, that's devotion. And Cardinals fans are so nice. This is why I freaking love my city.
In other news, I temporarily forgot about Opening Day this morning and put on a red sweater anyway. I guess it's in my blood?
