I am slowly-but-steadily working my way through that vidding meme (thank you to everyone who asked questions!), but tonight I am up past my bedtime not because I've been thinking about vidding but because I've been reading student papers, and they are delightful and remind me why I love my job.

I am so, so lucky.

It's been a week, people. Today I stayed late chatting with one of last year's students who stopped by to say hi and ended up hanging out for an hour processing and planning for the very full week ahead. Made the mistake of listening to a couple of my Glee vidsongs while doing the dinner dishes and now I cannot get them out of my head. Which is a problem, because I still have papers to grade and I need to focus, but I can't stop mentally running through the audio edits I've already made and dithering about whether I should shift the location of the ( Read more... )

I woke up this morning, looked at my to-do list, and felt defeated: so much stuff I didn't get done in the last couple of days...
