Well, it turns out my motherboard is toast. They no longer make what I was using and most of my other hardware would not be compatable with a new one, so I'm having a new system built for me by Compuzone. My computer went a little 'splodey a few hours ago. The cpu cooler at least is toast, and it's possible the cpu itself is fried. OMG, I'm an Anime!
At last, the portrait of me as an anime from ACEN is up, along with a new default icon. Still no scanner access, so I just took a picture of it and went from there. It's nowhere near as nice as the actual article, but I was able to clean it up some so it's decent looking.
