OMG, I'm an Anime!
At last, the portrait of me as an anime from ACEN is up, along with a new default icon. Still no scanner access, so I just took a picture of it and went from there. It's nowhere near as nice as the actual article, but I was able to clean it up some so it's decent looking.
My hair is actually quite a bit longer than that, about 2 inches below my waist in fact, but that's not really her fault. When I first went over to her booth, there was, understandably, a bit of a line and she was offering to take pictures of people so they could come back and pick up their portraits later. I agreed and came back the next day. Turns out, she didn't have a laptop to download the picture onto, so was working from the little screen on her camera. She hadn't quite finished yet, so I sat with her for the last details. It was kinda funny, because on my way back out of the dealers room after that, someone stopped me and asked if he could take my picture. I wasn't dressed up as anybody, so I thought it was odd, but it turns out I was wearing one of shirts his booth was selling and he wanted the picture for their website. My hair was still damp from the shower, so I hope that came out okay. I lost the card I had in the bag from when I bought the shirt, so I don't know where to go to see if it went up or not. Probably just as well, since I'm not half as cute and pretty in real life as I am as an anime. Kudos to the artist!
