Ten years and one day ago, I married Cecil. I wanted to have this up yesterday for our anniversary, but it took a surprisingly long time to put together. There are very few pictures of the two of us together, and actually almost NO pictures from 2002-2003. But here's a look at our married life thus far.

During Helen Rose's swim lesson today, I noticed how beautiful her instructor is. She has a lot (a lot) of freckles, and she probably hates them. My favorite thing about being a mom of two is watching Helen Rose "teach" Abby things. Today she explained to her in detail how to buckle an airplane seatbelt, and then reassured her by saying, "Don't worry, little baby. I can help you do it." and patting her on the leg.

I am consistently unimpressed with the service department here at Liberty Chrysler in Hinesville, GA. That's right, I'm naming names. They always put me off for too long before I can get an appointment, and now more than once have tried to tell me that my appointment was at a different time.

Spending the day in the waiting room at the auto shop with both girls. Boo.

Life just moves so fast sometimes, no?  Here we are already again at summer break. Helen Rose's last day of school was yesterday, and the county schools get out on Friday. Eating a bunch of candy makes me feel like crap the next day.

I'm all hot and tired and my tummy hurts and I'm nauseated and I can't get anything done and I'm cranky and headachey and did I mention tired?

Must stop eating so much candy.

Do you remember when going to the beach was fun? When all that was needed was a towel, sunscreen, and a book? Maybe a bottle of water if you planned to stay awhile. I used to keep a swimsuit and towel in my car just in case I wanted to go to the beach after work. No complications. No worries. No problem. I Love The Beach.
