I've been on the Bonnaroo website all damn day. It's getting massive traffic by releasing a new addition to the lineup every five minutes. Here's a little poem for you:

I am a person who enjoys my own company. I don't prefer it to others' company, but I'm comfortable enough alone that if I want to do something that no one else feels like doing, I'll do it anyway. The one exception is that I don't like going out to eat by myself. I like eating by myself if I can read a book or watch a movie, but sitting by myself ( Read more... )

Yesterday I slept until noon and it was amazing. We had a lot of social time in the morning and took so long to get going that I missed most of Ted Leo. Bummer. After that we enjoyed some hard sh*t in the form of Dillinger Escape Plan, and took a nap and chilled out at Erykah Badu. Yesterday did turn out to be pretty great, and the best weather we've had. We started the day with Rodrigo y Gabriella, who gave an amazing performance. Then we headed to Jenny Lewis, who sounded like an angel and absolutely made my day by actually playing songs I knew. We started yesterday with a set from Animal Collective that was a little too trippy for how we were feeling and abandoned them if favor of the excellent Galactic with Trombone Shorty .
