This year the two major conferences for my work, ABAI and APBA, were in Chicago and New Orleans respectively. Last weekend I was throwing a (subdued) temper tantrum. It was the 4th of July and because of the combination of the holiday and our summer hours, we had a four day weekend. We got back from Thailand.....well, we got back into the country (LA) on Saturday night at 9PM Pacific time. We landed in Chicago at 5:30AM. We took an 8:30AM Metra train and got back to our actual home at about 11am on Sunday. The best part about being home was, of course, seeing Greta T. Dogbody.
