As soon as Wash and the others have the Reavers out of the air, Zoe starts leading her unit to the ship, weapons ready. If they're lucky, some of these bastards died on impact. But, considering how the day's going so far, she's guessing no. And she can't help but think about the last time she did this, the way they'd all nearly died. The day Wash

Unfortunately there are four of them outside the Magic Shop and they aren't terribly interested in allowing the slight bit of time he needs to gather enough energy to kill them.
Chaos is Ethan's watch word, but he sort of fights like a doily. All slappy hands and awkward shoving.

"I can get them away. Then you do...whatever it is you do," she says, glancing at him.

"Handy trick that," then he nodded at their oncoming attackers. "Please, do what you do and I will do what I do. Just stand back a bit when I do, or you'll be very messy by the end."

There's a collapsed building with lots of rubble and one of those weird humans is snarling at the debris as it's trying to dig its way through with its bare hands. J.L.'s eyes narrow. He could hear a faint scream from underneath. Someone was under there.
He ran at the Reaver and kicked him. It's been a while since J.L. had fought hand-to-hand with someone since his injury, but it's like riding a bike. If he could fight a T-X, he could fight anything.
He hears the neck snap and the Reaver goes down, but there are more around, J.L. knows, and he's going to have to work fast. He's just not sure he can move all the concrete himself.

He looked over at the kid.
"Let me do this and you watch and let me know when something gets close?"

"I can do both." He glances to the debris, then to John. "Unless you can lift the large ones all by yourself."
No human could lift some of the larger slabs. No human. A Terminator could.

The motherfuckers were flammable. They went up with a scream and a high pitched pained keening and a roar and were then gone. Some of them were ash. Some of them, once Charlie saw what they were about, she left dying in flames. Yeah, she was a bit twisted on occasion but she happened to like this village, crazy as it was. She felt it necessary to protect it.
And all it took was a look from Charlie. Just one glance and there was a rush of intense heat between her and her target. Sometimes, there were fireballs and her skin was glowing ever so slightly.
Pay no attention to the faint smile on her face. She's not enjoying this at all. Nope.

When he catches up to McGee he'll be covered pretty much head to toe in blood, with the occasional chunk in it.
This? Fucking AWESOME.

What also sucks is the things are getting smarter when it comes to Charlie. Not that she's aware of it but some of them have figured out where the fire is coming from and they're pissed.
"Watch my back, Ed," Charlie says after noting his appearance. She gives herself to make one comment about it before continuing on.
"You're so cleaning the bathroom after you've washed off. That's gross." Teasing. So much teasing.

But he did as asked, slicing up one, gutting another, careful to keep his distance from her even as he worked to keep them out from where she couldn't easily reach. He seems to be enjoying the whole thing far more than he should, licking their leavings from his fingers when he has a moment to spare, trying to take advantage of proximity for a quick meal, and the more blood is spilled the more into it he gets; he's barely even paying attention to her anymore, fully transformed into the bat boy visage his personal brand of inner demon presents and communicating more in growls and snarls than words. Now and then he whines when one gets too close, but it's soon accompanied by a squeal and a wet crunch as he pays them back, and that's mostly the end of that.

She had many weapons on her person, but was currently using a pair of long curved daggers to kill any of these creatures that got close, and a crossbow slung over her back which she occasionally brought out to take down a Reaver with an arrow between the eyes. Which she'd quickly take out of the thing's skull and re-use. She didn't know what these things were, but she wasn't going to let them get anywhere near the hotel. Nowhere near her kid.

"Have you seen Yuri and Kei? They should be in the sky with guns." It's too chaotic for me to seek them out--they started from their ship.
A run-by/check in.

Still, she wasn't fully aware of the danger till she rounded the corner and froze at the sight of a couple Reavers running towards her. Or at least they had been running in a general direction till they saw the brightly dressed woman standing out among the village buildings.
As soon as she realized they were growling and running towards her, she screamed and turned to run. Not that she made it far thanks to the death-trap shoes she was wearing. She went sprawling and barely had time to get back to her feet when she felt one of them behind her.

He saw Effie go down as he rounded the corner and terror gripped him for a moment before he instinctively launched himself at her attackers his knife coming out as he dragged the one on her off his feet and slit it's throat before turning on the other.

They were the embodiment of his nightmares, if it had the face of one of the tributes who had died when he hadn't it would be complete.
He ducked the things swing and knifed it, high in the ribs, thrusting his knife up into the things heart and twisting it free.
Then he turned to Effie, blood dripping from his hand, shirt front liberally coated and scowled.
"I told you those shoes were dangerous." Then he reached to help her up, gruffness hiding his real emotion.
