Let's Kill Reavers [[ground fighting]]
As soon as Wash and the others have the Reavers out of the air, Zoe starts leading her unit to the ship, weapons ready. If they're lucky, some of these bastards died on impact. But, considering how the day's going so far, she's guessing no. And she can't help but think about the last time she did this, the way they'd all nearly died. The day Wash had died. But he's fine now, and Maya's with Inara, safe. They could handle this, the village guard, them against the Reavers. It was more than just six of them, anyway.
Like a switch has been flipped, Reavers start pouring out of every available hatch, smart of 'em anyway, to not all use one exit. Soon they're on the streets, looking for anyone to kill. Some are armed with machetes and knives, others are more than willing to attempt to dig in with their bare hands and teeth. A victim of the Reavers would not last long. Mercifully.
