Let's Kill Reavers [[ground fighting]]

Jun 17, 2012 12:43

As soon as Wash and the others have the Reavers out of the air, Zoe starts leading her unit to the ship, weapons ready. If they're lucky, some of these bastards died on impact. But, considering how the day's going so far, she's guessing no. And she can't help but think about the last time she did this, the way they'd all nearly died. The day Wash ( Read more... )

Use her any way you want (Hurt, rescue, rescuer, just general chaos) kiddosgotclaws June 17 2012, 19:49:09 UTC
Beatrix was meditating, trying to make some sense out of all this shit when the messanger went off. Fuck, that bad feeling she had last night was creeping back to bite her in the ass. Grabbing her and Bill's sword, she sent Wade a quick message to meet her in the park, and headed out. She had no idea where to meet her unit, but wasn't waiting around to find out, either. Messanger in her back pocket, she took the elevator down just like it was any other day. When she emerged from the hotel, she had a smirk only Wade had seen before. Time to get rid of all that stress. Both swords drawn, she was ready for a fight. Now to find one.

He should have guessed something like this would happen the moment he'd found his bo staff sitting in his room.

Cursing under his breath he took in the sight of the... where they people-- coming out from the wood work and ripping people apart. He rushed into action, pulling several playing cards charging them and tossing them at a group chasing after someone. They exploded their chests and they fell to the ground. Okay, so they weren't super human. At least there was that.

Audrey had three young children with her. They had, apparently, hid in the play structure when the Reavers started attacking and hadn't budged since. It wasn't safe for them there, so she was trying to get them to the hotel in one piece.

They were jogging as fast as the littlest one could go. The ten year old was carrying the four year-old in a piggy-back and the eight year old was beside them. Audrey had a gun in her hand. She had shot seven rounds off which left eight more bullets.

Suddenly the eight year-old boy girl cried out. She had tripped and sprained her ankle. Audrey spotted three Reavers headed their way. This was bad.

Remy spotted them and quickly sprung into action, running their way, downing one Reaver with an exploding card, then knocking back the others with a wailing swing of his staff.

Audrey shot another round off and glanced at the advancing man. "Interesting grenade you have there." She could have sworn it looked like a playing card.

The little girl was crying. Audrey crouched down to examine the ankle. "It's twisted." She was talking to the stranger more so than the girl.

OTA, fight with, rescue, etc, near the hotel gobacktoheaven June 17 2012, 19:52:25 UTC
It wasn't something that he imagined they ever taught in Sunday school, but Aaron had learned one important thing from his time with Azazel:

Angels loved to kill.

He was keeping to the vicinity of the hotel like he'd told Robert he would, but his angel half was super-excited to have a fight on its hands.

Angelic fire reduced iron to dust, it didn't have any problem with people - no matter how freaky they looked.

Yeah, he was laughing up a storm and probably came across as more than a little insane as he flew around and either blew the guys up or went in to lop off some heads with a flaming sword.

Before Anna had been a human, she had been an angel and a soldier. She had command over a whole barracks. When the Reavers touched down, Anna had been near the lake. She had nothing with her and she knew she wouldn't stand a chance unarmed, so she headed for the hotel.

As she neared the hotel, a Reaver came upon here. It hurt, but she sent a wave of mental energy in its direction. The Reaver went flying, but accessing such a power in her human body put a drain on Anna. She wavered in her step, though she continued to head for the hotel. However, there were for Reavers headed towards her quickly.

The two Reavers nearest to Anna might have looked surprised in the moment that they were reduced to free-floating atoms - it was hard to tell.

Aaron swooped in, sword in one hand, fireball ready in the other.

"Hello, Auntie." The Nephilim said, grinning at her. "Are you alright?"

The sudden deaths of the Reavers startled Anna for a moment until she realized what was happening.

She let out a breath. "Fine... though I'm reminded of how handicapped I am now."

ota; fight with her seleneimmortal June 17 2012, 19:55:55 UTC
When she got the message about the guards, Selene went straight to the roof of the hotel to survey what was going on. She saw the fallen ship and headed straight for it, right into the thick of things.

Boots pounding on the street she hissed, baring her fangs, eyes bright blue and narrowed, her guns already poised and ready. Whatever these things were crawling out of that ship and running like errant warriors out for nothing but the kill.

Selene started shooting.

Rebekah was drawn by the commotion, the chaos and the shooting. Getting involved in fights wasn't normally her thing but these creatures, these demented humans, meant nothing good for the village.

Spotting Selene and recognizing her from the club, she moved closer at top speeds as she came in from the side. Where Selene wasn't shooting, Rebekah focused her energy there. She moved quickly, catching a Reaver by the throat and crushing the bones easily. Dropping that body, she turned to a Reaver who threw himself forward. Catching him, she saw the opening to plunge her hand into his chest, ripping his heart from his body with little effort.

Selene gave Rebekah a nod and kept shooting. When the reavers get too close, they both use their bare hands to fight them off.

"Coming at you!" Selene warned, just as she grabbed one of them coming from the opposite side, taking it by the throat and ripping it out.

Rebekah had never used a gun. She preferred swords though she didn't have one of those either. Maybe she would have to invest in one at this rate.

Whirling at the warning, she sidestepped one Reaver slashing at her while the other leapt forward. She felt some sharp hit her shoulder but she paid it no mind. She merely twisted and threw the one hard before catching the second one to break his neck by turning his head clean around.

"Any idea what these are?" She called out.

in need of rescuing, but remember, you can't touch her. Ankle is rolled. awkwardfrenzy June 17 2012, 19:57:02 UTC
All that Alisha's trying to do is get from the beach back to the hotel. All of this chaos and fuck she can't handle, so when spaceships start going at it, she's done with this. And then she sees whatever those things are and tries to make a run for it.

Her thin flats aren't exactly perfect, and when she steps on something sharp on the cobblestone she tries to correct and winds up flat on her face. Trying to get up, she immediately hobbles back down, realizing that her ankle is hurt. If one of those things touches her, she's done in, and she knows it. "Somebody help!" she screams, even as she tries to run again and falls, scraping herself along the side of her leg.

At least Deb was in pants. This was what she was thinking. She had a Glock, a bullet-proof vest, extra ammunition and she had a girl down. A girl she knew. "Don't move!" she shouted, waiting to make her way over. "Are you hurt?!"

"My ankle, and I'm cut!" she yells back. At least Deb knows about the touching thing.

"Okay. Just stay still."

There was one of those things coming and Deb fired. It went down quick. Huh.

But when she knelt in front of Alisha, she pulled off her vest and held it out. "Put this on. I can carry you if I just touch it?"
