Today my parents came for a 2 hour visit... at one point my mom hands me this plain piece of paper with a typed message on it.... she said "dad and i wrote this for you"

Today I think I pinched myself at least 10 times to remind myself that I am only 21. The thing is, this happens everyday. I don't feel 21 at all, so I keep on forgetting that's how young I really am. I have bronchitis... My dad came yesterday morning into my room and brought me home.... i was too stubborn to see a dr on my own or anything else.... go me... the worst part is the meds kill my stomach,..... i'm not sure which is worse.... congested lungs and wheezing or pain in stomach... well right now i have both so whatever....

So I think one thing I can say was alternative about the way my parents raised me was their lack of expectations. It's funny because that's what most people would think was so prevelant in my life... but really, that's what just wasn't there...
