I'm new to this community and I hate a lot of character bashing. I don't mind someone disliking a character, but when they take it to a level where it is immature, wrong or just stupid, I have something to say about it.

I always seem to get the short end of the stick when it comes to fandoms. I always like a character who ends up bashed, hated or treated like evil incarnate by a large majority. Why is that? Is it because the anime fans of the present have immatured? Or, am I merely more accepting of horrible people? I know the likely answer.
