i found out my girlfriend doesn't believe in global warming today and that she can't defend/explain her perspective. might be a dealbreaker. her dad's a beekeeper, a third of the world's bee population died in the last year and she actually thinks they'll just come back. yikes.

Interesting that the girl I'm seeing said she wouldn't have sex until marriage, and I don't really see this getting in the way of our relationship. After many relationships involving girls being sexually aggressive with me, or at least assertive, I don't really see it as being a key part of the relationship, but rather just one of many parts. got a job at wells-fargo doing customer service, health insurance starts june 1st. stoked. it's banker's hours, standard 8-6 M-F, so i'll have evenings and weekends off for the first time in my life. excited to finally get out of retail as my primary occupation ( Read more... )

this job search is a bit crap. have a few applications in this week that i am feeling better about. temp agencies around here have some pretty ridiculous applications, requiring official college transcripts, 5+ page applications that seem much more in-depth than non-temp work ( Read more... )

and my parents refuse to let me forgo health insurance. but i can't justify/afford this whatsoever. preexisting condition = FAIL
