sxsw - austin reach-out
i would really, really like to go to sxsw just to see friends and network.
if anyone in austin can let me stay on their couch/floor or knows someone that's not super shady (and i feel like my lj austin peeps are all rock solid, mind you!) then please let me know, because i need to take the time off ASAP.
thinking i just won't get a wristband and do the day parties…i was worn out by the time the night time showcases came around in 2006 and it seemed most of my friends were playing and could either get me in, or give me their wristbands the morning after when they went off to their next city. i really feel that winging it is the best way to experience it, based upon 2006. and since sxsw 2007 was twitter's big coming out party, i really want to be there.
apple management really wants me to be there, too, but i need to have a place to stay to really justify. can trade music, beer, food, art, etc. for a good spot to stay!
thinking i'd just be staying thursday-saturday nights at most. let me know if you could help or put me in touch with those who could!
