this job search is a bit crap. have a few applications in this week that i am feeling better about. temp agencies around here have some pretty ridiculous applications, requiring official college transcripts, 5+ page applications that seem much more in-depth than non-temp work.
getting a lot of reading and music-listening done, though. got plenty of time for myself these days. learning how to code, but took a few steps back and doing applescript for now.
biggest trouble i've had is not having folks to carpool with to gigs. i sure would like to see dan higgs from lungfish on sunday in iowa city but i don't think i'll go by myself. doubt i'll have this issue when krallice & wolves in the throne room plays in may, though.
