Rose Lerner, Listen to the Moon (Lively St Lemeston #3) -- so, this was an OK book for me, but it did drive home the realization that it was True Pretenses that was the (happy) fluke, nor Lerner's writing as a whole -- Sweet Disorder and this book were fine, enjoyable reads, and I even want to read more Lively St Lemeston books, because I've ( Read more... )

In squeeful fannish news: Vallista has a publication date! September according to Brust, Amazon has mid-October, but either way, it's a real book really coming out this year, woo! 51. Rainbow Rowell, Landline -- after finishing Carry On and Eleanor and Park, I was reminded by ms_geekette that Rowell had also written some adult titles. Attachments, which I also want to read, actually sounded more interesting, but Landline was on sale for like two bucks, so I went with that one. 44. Jordan L. Hawk, Maelstrom (Whyborne & Griffin #7) -- so, I'm all caught up. I'm a bit ambivalent about this one, though I enjoyed it on the whole. ( Things I liked and things I didn't, with spoilers )
