Today in New York City the tax base circling the drain was visible to the naked eye. Wall Street was crumbling. . . technically Lehman Brothers is located on 42nd street but who wants to nitpick. I think this is real.

I am sitting at work on a Saturday. Its kind of slow. Luckily I brought in my base stations so I could have wifi at work today. Its more of a clubhouse than an actual job. There are sprawling drawings on doors and tabletops. We always have somebody's ipod on the speakers. In general its not a challenging job. Ironically, I have never been paid ( Read more... )

When I moved here my computer took a nose dive. This gave me time to persue the lost art of painting. You will notice the typical Haines style. Quality varies depending on how much I've had to drink.

Amazing weekend of Music and Media

This was a weekend of great shows. First we saw Saul Williams at SOB in Greenwich Village or SoHo (I haven't lived here long enough to be that specific). The opening band was this crazy little 3 piece called Telepathe Really cool spacey, electronic, and melodic sound.
