China Day One/Two
Not many of you know (lol) that I've taken a wee trip to China. Beijing, specficially.

Finally!
For the last year I've been working on my disseration. And on Monday, I finally handed it in. WOOP! A whole year of examining the same reports about the same boring old bones is finally done. It's a sunny afternoon and I completely, and utterly, procrastinating. I should be writing the theory chapter for my disseration, but I'm actually taking the time out of my busy day to sit and write an entry on LJ cos i really, really don't have anything better to do. As many of you know, I've been getting involved in Guinea Pig Rescuing. I've been dealing with some really gorgeous guinea pigs. In our last rescue there was a lovely, very skinny girl that we took in. She's been living with my friend Helen in Gretna, putting on weight and doing quite well. I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has been supportive regaurding Anton's face up. I also want to espically thank all the offers I've had from people to help fix him! I've got so many now I don't know what direction to take my grumpy-pants boy in now. But he WILL be grumpy again one day.

Does this look like Anton to you?
In an attempt to consol myself I decided to put Anton back together and take some photos. That was a mistake. I don't know if it's because the face up he has right now is so tarnished by my dissapointment in the other one, but he doesn't seem like Anton. He's too....nice. His features are too plain, too pretty to look at. The eyebrows are too neat ( Read more... )
