My calendar seems to think this is a leap year, but once you flip over to March, it's like the leap year never happened because March 1 is on the same day (Sunday) as February 29. It's not a leap year.

For ages now, life has been fairly uninteresting, with the exception of World Fantasy, Graduating, and inksphinx 's birthday. I've paid off my tuition, and in the next couple of months, I expect to have enough for a downpayment on a condo. Hooray! Soon I shall no longer be the creature under the stairs. I was walking to the print shop here at work (at the University of Manitoba) through the campus tunnels and in one of the tunnels, it's wide, well lit, lot's of student 'art', in addition to the steam pipes, there are speakers piping some modern classical music which really sounds more ( Read more... ) -

More Mad Bus People
For the most part, taking the bus is uneventful. Harry Potter and Mad Bus People
Last week Friday, I was waiting for my bus, reading a book, ready to go home. Some crazy woman stood a couple of feet away and kept saying, 'Where's the bus. I want to go home. I'm going to smash someone's fucking face in.' I think she said it about five times before the bus arrived. Needless to say, I kept hiding behind my book praying it ( Read more... ) -
Is the postal service redeeming itself?
Not yet. Don't know that it ever can. But I did get my module selection package in the mail today. Can't wait to get home and start picking courses and planning and getting excited about residency which I'm actually already excited about it even though two of my friends are graduating and leaving me all sad and lonely. The final count is in!
A total of 9 toy poodle puppies were born. The breakdown:
1 white
8 black (although one of the black ones has a spot of brown on it)
6 females
3 males
My nieces and nephew were there to witness the birth, and have been watching the puppies like hawks, though they are coming over this weekend, and I'm sure I'll get to hear all about it.

I'm an Auntie again
Sort of.
My brother's dog had puppies this morning. 7 was the count last I heard though they thought there might be one or two more to come. Yay for puppies.
