Why do I live here?
There are days when I don't like living in Winnipeg for some obvious reasons like it gets as cold as -40 in the winter, our transit system is the most pitiful on the planet (seriously), most of my friends live far far away and I only get to see them once every year or two or three, it's damn expensive to fly anywhere from here. In other news, I'm going out for lunch today with my co-workers. Mmmmm. And my boss took me out for lunch on Wednesday to congratulate me on completing my 3 months probation. Now I'm fully union. They can't fire me. Bwahahahah

I'm a total slacker today

I GOT A JOB!!!!
I start October 9, working in the Psychology department here at the University of Manitoba. It's taken me a year to find a permanent full-time job since cominging home from Belfast. This one has good pay and awesome benefits. And the work should be manageable too. Which is always a good thing. That takes a load of stress off. Now I can focus ( Read more... ) -
