He used the GPS on Ben's phone to track him down, and once he was in the mall it didn't take him long to spot him in Starbucks. Sliding his hands in his pockets, he made his way over, standing next to him for a moment before kicking the side of the couch lightly to get his son's attention.

He gave Dean back a look that if anything, Dean had seen before. It was his face, but the look that Sam always gave John growing up when he felt that John was being unreasonable and overbearing.

Her head picked up when she heard the door open, and she did a double take when she saw who it was. She had been starting to think that he was never coming home, and when she spotted him, she was on her feet and charging towards him, throwing her arms around his waist and burying her face in his stomach.
"Don't leave again."

He gave her a quick kiss on the cheej at her front door and promised to call her in the morning and then set out to walk home. He used the time to try and formulate an appology to his brother, but wasn't quite sure why he bothered since he knew in the end he'd just blurt out something stupid, but but painfully honest.
He was still working on it when he opened the door to the house and stepped inside. The scent of desperation would take a few days o disapate just like it had taken a couple to build.

When the door opened, he tilted his head to see who had come home, knowing it was more than likely Alec - otherwise it would be a burglar - and then waved.
"You still hungry?"

He stepped into the kitchen and tried to decide if Ben was trying to pretend there was nothing to talk about, or just didn't want to talk about it right now.

It was a bit of both. Ben was hoping to just try and act like nothing had happened. He wasn't angry at his brother at all anymore. But he knew they were going to have to talk about what happened eventually.
