I awoke to unexpected sun. The storm seems to have spent itself in the night. There may be rain this evening, but for now I am grateful for the sun and a little blue sky and only enough clouds that the blue isn't oppressive. There was a time I hardly thought about the weather. That was decades ago. But, until fairly recently, it was something I did not obsessively report on in this journal. The world here remains white. We got, I think, at least twice as much snow yesterday as was forecast. It would have been beautiful, were I not so sick of the stuff. My camera has had enough of snow. I meant to go Outside yesterday, but the sky and ground were the same moldy grey color, and it just didn't happen. Currently, its sunny and 23˚F in Providence.
